Dad Lost His KungFu Grip- synopsis

As RYAN MOORE travels on a road late night, his driver and girlfriend, SHERRY, only knows she’s heading to the home of SENIOR, Ryan's estranged Father… and that Ryan's grandmother has died.

A mile back, TERRENCE FAUST, in a black Cadillac,  follows covertly while trying to keep civility with his passengers: soft-spoken, 300 lb, WAYMON and yakkety 5’4” BIG ANT.

Reaching the outskirts of their destination, Ryan gives in to temptation, entering the local pool hall; soon challenged to his game of passion, his game of gambling… foosball.

It’s not long before local army vet, JOHN COUCH, takes offense at Ryan's superior play and superior attitude.  John Couch, and friends, takes Ryan out back for an ass-whoopin’, but coming from the shadows, Sherry breaks up the fight with her KungFu prowess, while also breaking the male ego.

Leaving the pool hall, they pass a parked black Cadillac with its passengers fast asleep. But arriving at Senior’s home, a different fight begins.

Since his parent’s divorce, Ryan hasn’t seen Ryan-Senior in years and discovers that not only is dad still an ass, but he has taken up with Ryan’s Aunt… his own mother’s sister.

The next morning increases tension; Grandma’s funeral brings together Ryan , Senior, and Senior’s oldest friend and army buddy… John Couch.

While new tempers flare, and are put to rest by Sherry, Grandma is finally put to rest herself.  Now, Ryan and Sherry go to the funeral parlor for grandma’s belongings.

At the deserted parlor, Sherry walks into the sanctuary and sees the back of a man wearing a religious robe; but dressed in sheep’s clothing this turns out to be the wolf… Terrence Faust.

Now as Sherry fights Terrence, and cunningly avoids Waymon’s girth, she also learns Ryan gambled away his college tuition on a game of foosball.  And as the Gangstas underestimate Sherry, she eludes their grasp.

After Ryan confesses his sins back at Senior’s house, the chaos is multiplied as John Couch invites his army friends over to protect the homestead.

John also has another idea; get Ryan and Senior to pair up as a team and enter into a secret underground Shaker foosball tournament.  First prize: enough to pay off the gangstas.

But when Senior refuses, Ryan discovers his father is holding in regret.   It’s not Ryan’s abused childhood bothering Senior, or that he gave up his life as a martial arts instructor or that he caused a military accident that permanently injured John Couch.

But to get the truth out of Senior, and to get the gangstas out of town, Ryan pairs up with John for the tournament.

With wild-eyed Shaker-fans going crazy, it’s very confusing to see Ryan’s mom show up and sit with Senior – her ex husband who is her sister’s lover – but this shock, along with a massive clash that pairs gangstas against Sherry and John Couch and friends, is the nudge that brings Senior down to the arena floor.  He’ll reveal his darkest secret and join Ryan in the final championship game.

It sounds promising; if Senior can just -- finally -- not put the ball in the wrong hole.
