Hello,
I am calling upon all fellow actors to limit their yearly income to $500,000. This will be one million before taxes.

The country is in crisis right now and most everybody between Hollywood and New York is living the most successful life that they can lead.

But this life is no where near the amount of money that actors bring in. These actors are environmentally and socially conscious about the state of their world, so it just seems obvious that they will want to participate in this giving affair.

They just haven't been made aware of it, yet.

It's a pretty simple idea, and it just hit *me* the other day, too, so I understand why no one in the movie community has thought of it:

I am calling upon all fellow actors (anyone making their living off the screen or arts) to limit their yearly income to $500,000. Half a million is plenty to enjoy the great life that God has given you; cars and boats and vegas and expensive meals and hotels and cruises and vacations and pets and cleaning services.

If you combine the incomes of
Jim Carrey, Michael Moore, Jennifer Lopez, Charlize Theron, Bruce Willis, Ben Affleck, Alec Baldwin, Jennifer Anniston, Billy Bob Thornton, Robert Deniro, Kate Beckinsale, Oprah Winfrey, John Travolta, The Rock, Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, Johnny Depp, Dustin Hoffman, Jerry Seinfeld, Willem Dafoe, Thomas Calabro, Racquel Welch, Rush Limbaugh, Woody Allen, Hugh Jackman, William H Macy, Keanu Reeves, Michael Meyers, Halle Berry, Ashton Kurchner, Julia Roberts, Mike Farrell, Roseanne Arnold, Will Smith, Ben Stiller, Ellen Degeneres, Shannen Doherty, Scott Brantley, Robin Williams, Mary Stuart Masterson, Samuel L Jackson, Tom Cruise, David Duchoveny, Matthew McConahey, Meryl Streep, Sarah Jessica Parker, Brad Pitt, Ray Romano, Bono, Michael Jackson, Mel Gibson, Jessica Simpson, Gene Hackman, George Lopez, Matthew Perry, Kate Winslet, Glenn Close, Kelly Preston, Steven Spielberg, Arnold Scwarzenegger, Jerry Bruckheimer, Tom Selleck, Jack Nicholson, Jerry Orbach, Sally Fields, Richard Gere, Daniel Radcliffe, Demi Moore, Bill O'Reilly, Nicol Kidman, Jackie Chan, Alan Alda, Tobey Maguire, Tony Curtis, Bett Midler, Melissa Gilbert, Kristen Kreuk, Kevin Costner, Michael Caine, and Gary Sinise

you come to the total of over 6.78 billion dollars.

If they reduce their salaries to 1 million a year before taxes, this will leave 6.7 billiondollars that can go to the good of our universe.

This is just the tip of the iceberg.

There are hundreds of celebrities that were not listed which would bring the total to well over 600 billion dollars.

Can you imagine the greatness of America, the strength of our communites.

Actors are in the public eye more than all others, and they proclaim many political and social statements about how this world should be and what we as individuals can do for our country.

Well, it's time to put our money where others mouths are.

Please celebrities, contact me and I will put your name on the list of true americans who support and are participants in this program. You don't have to be listed above to be a part of it. Also, you don't have to be just actors. Anyone who makes over a million a year can be on the list if they participate.

ok, that should be enough to get started. I'll probably fill this list up today and add a hundred more tomorrow.
